Introduction to Cellar Safety

Good cellar practices will ensure a safe and healthy working environment.

Lone working, ventilation, slips, trips and general housekeeping are amongst some of the main areas to ensure that you ensure a safe environment for employees, and delivery staff.

Falls are the  most common cause of injury in licensed premises and are in the main caused by poor housekeeping standards.

Whilst management has the prime responsibility for ensuring the effectiveness of the Company's Health and Safety Policy and procedures, their successful implementation requires the co-operation of all employees and the acceptance by each  of their responsibility in law to take resonable care inteh the health and safety of themselves and any othe person who may be affected by their actions or omissions at work.
